The Semantic Grid - Automation through Annotation

Welcome to semanticgrid.org, the Semantic Grid community portal. The Semantic Grid is an extension of the current Grid in which information and services are given well-defined meaning through machine-processable descriptions which maximize the potential for sharing and reuse. We believe that this approach is essential to achieve the full richness of the Grid vision, with a high degree of easy-to-use and seamless automation enabling flexible collaborations and computations on a global scale.
