3rd GGF Semantic Grid Workshop

This is the Web page for the 3rd GGF Semantic Grid Workshop which is being held at GGF16 in Athens, Greece. February 13-16, 2006. The workshop is on Wednesday Feb 15, 2006 1:30pm-7:00pm. The program, papers and slides are available here. Following on from the successful workshops at GGF9 (Chicago) and GGF11 (Hawaii), this event aims to broaden discussion and awareness of Semantic Grid activities and set the scene for future work.

There will also be a Semantic Grid 101 session on Tuesday Feb 14 10:30am-12pm to bring newcomers up to speed so that anyone can benefit from the workshop. This is open to anyone whether or not they are attending the workshop.

Position papers for the workshop need to be submitted by January 12 for consideration by the Programme Committee, which will select papers to be invited for presentation in the workshop programme. The preliminary workshop agenda will be available here on January 16. All the submitted papers and the selected presentations will be published on the Web by January 31, 2006.

Please note - workshop attendance is limited to 50 places and priority will be given to people who have submitted papers.
